The minutes of the last meeting of the Special Overview & Scrutiny Committee, held on 25^th March 2026, are submitted for approval as a correct record.

Recommended           -  That the minutes be received and approved as a correct record.

This report requests that the Overview and Scrutiny Committees give consideration to the proposed work programmes for 2026-27.

Recommended – That the work programme for 2026-27 be approved.

To provide Special Overview and Scrutiny Committee with an update on the Huncoat Garden Village project.

Recommendations    -         That progress being made with the Huncoat Garden Village project be noted. 

Recommended - That, in accordance with Section 100A(4) Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting during the following item, when it is likely, in view of the nature of the proceedings, that there would otherwise be disclosure of exempt information within the Paragraph at Schedule 12A of the Act specified at the item.

To consider the nominations and applications for the vacant co-optee positions on the Special Overview & Scrutiny Committee and to make recommendations to Full Council for approval.

Recommended          - That recommendations are made to Full Council for the appointment of the vacant co-optee positions on the Special Overview & Scrutiny Committee.
