Reason for urgency:
The Huncoat Garden Village scheme is a major strategic priority within the Council’s Corporate Strategy 2025-2030. Delivery of the project will take a number of years to complete. The provision of a relief road is a key enabler and an integral part of project. Any delay to the acquisition of the land to be utilised for the road could seriously jeopardise the timely delivery of the overall scheme.
