To submit the minutes of the Cabinet Committee (Street Naming) meeting held on the 15^th February 2019 for approval as a correct record.

Recommended - That the minutes be received and approved as a correct record.

To seek approval for the naming of the following Streets for a new-build residential

development located off Thwaites Road, Oswaldtwistle.

Recommended -That the 4 streets be named as set out in the report.

The Chief Planning and Transportation Officer submitted a report to seek approval for the naming of streets on a new-build residential development located off Thwaites Road, Oswaldtwistle.

Members present at the meeting discussed the layout and history of the location and how the proposed names linked to the development.

Resolved        -           That the 4 streets be named as per the Officer’s

recommendation in the report with a preference for Shire Wood rather than Shire Way.
