    To submit the minutes of the last meeting of the Planning (Trees) Sub-Committee held on 17th October 2019 for approval as a correct record.

     

    Recommended – That the Minutes be received and approved as a correct record.

    Town and Country Planning Act 1990 - Tree Preservations Order(s) pdf icon PDF 1 MB

    3A. Tree Preservation Order 2021 No 1 – Mount Pleasant School, CLM, BB5 5NH

     

    The Tree, a mature Sycamore, is located in the eastern corner of the playing field of Mount Pleasant School on Earl Street, Clayton-Le-Moors.  It within the boundary of the school. 

     

    Recommended – That the application be determined as set out in the report.

    Minutes:

    The Chief Planning & Transportation Officer and the Tree Officer submitted a report to determine the application Tree Preservation Order 2021 No 1 – Mount Pleasant School, Clayton Le Moors, BB5 5NH.

     

    The recommendation is that the Tree Preservation Order No 1 made earlier this year in respect of a Sycamore tree at Mount Pleasant School is to be confirmed.

     

    The Chief Planning & Transportation Officer presented information and photographs of the tree and advised Members that an assessment of the tree had been undertaken and was included in the report.

     

    Resolved –

     

    (1)  That the temporary Tree Preservation Order be made permanent and confirmed.

    (2)  That the Chief Planning & Transport Officer write to the school to request regular maintenance of the tree in line with arboricultural best practice.
