Town and Country Planning Act 1990- New Tree Preservation Order(s) PDF 75 KB The attached report(s) sets out the issues surrounding a Tree Preservation Order relating to Greystoke, 26 Aspen Lane, Oswaldtwistle and White Croft Farm, White Croft Lane, Oswaldtwistle.
Recommended - That the application(s) be determined as set out in the report.

Minutes: The Chief Planning & Transportation Officer and the Arboricultural & Conservation Officer submitted a report setting out recommended action on whether the temporary Tree Preservation Order (TPO) that had been placed on the tree detailed below in March 2019 should be made permanent.
Sycamore Tree in the grounds of Greystoke, 26 Aspen Lane, Oswaldtwistle, BB5 4QA
The Chief Planning and Transportation Officer presented information and photographs of the tree and advised Members that an assessment of the tree had been undertaken and was included in Appendix 1 of the report attached to the agenda.
Members were made aware by Officers that one objection had been made although this was still to be received formally in writing.
N.B: The Chief Planning and Transportation Officer submitted an update report which was circulated at the meeting. This included comments from a local resident, Ward Councillor and Stanhill Village Residents and Fete Committee in support of a permanent TPO.
Resolved - (1) That the Temporary Tree Preservation Order be made permanent as per the Officer’s recommendation in the report, subject to no further objections and representations made by the 11th April 2019.
