To submit the minutes of the Planning (Trees) Sub- Committee meeting held on the 21^st March 2018 for approval as a correct record.

Recommended-         That the minutes be received and approved as a correct

The minutes of the last Planning (Trees) Sub-Committee held on the 21^st March 2018, were submitted for approval as a correct record.

The attached report seeks approval from Committee to take formal action (serve Tree Replacement Notices) under s.207 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to secure the replacement planting at Owl Hall and Heathlands School that should have been undertaken in accordance with the consent after the protected trees were felled.   

Recommended-         That the Committee support the service of Tree

Replacement Notices to secure the planting of the replacement trees required by the consents as set out in the report.   

The Chief Planning & Transportation Officer and Arboricultural & Conservation Officer submitted a report to seek approval from the Committee to take formal action (serve Tree Replacement Notices) under s.207 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to secure the replacement planting at Owl Hall and Heathlands School that should have been undertaken in accordance with the consent after the protected trees were felled.   

The Chief Planning and Transportation Officer presented information on the Owl Hall and Heathlands School locations and explained the process of serving a tree replacement notice, as illustrated by the flow chart contained in the report.

Resolved                   - That Members of the Planning (Trees) Sub-Committee

supported the service of tree replacement notices to secure the planting of the replacement trees required by the consents set out as per the report:-
