The Chief Planning and Transportation Officer submitted a report setting out recommended action on the following planning applications.

Resolved                   - (1) (a) That the following planning application be

approved contrary to Officer recommendation as per the report and the update sheet circulated before the committee on the grounds that the committee came to the conclusion that for reasons that the benefit of the development outweigh the concerns about pedestrian safety by the highways authority (Lancashire County Council), and:-

                                    - (b) That delegated authority be granted to the Chief

Planning and Transportation Officer to add any conditions appropriate to the development:-

Following a motion, a number of Members of the Committee were minded to approve the following planning application. The Committee requested legal advice on planning reasons for approval.
