The following item is submitted as urgent business, with the Mayor’s agreement, in accordance with s.100B(4)(b) of the Local Government Act 1972, by reason of the special circumstances set out below:
The reason for urgency is to provide the Council and the residents of Hyndburn with a summary of the English Devolution White Paper and its implications for the Borough at the earliest opportunity and to enable the Council to consider and provide its indicative position to the Government’s consultation in a timely manner. |
