To submit the Minutes of the Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee held on 18^th February 2021 for approval as a correct record.

Recommended                     -   That the Minutes be received and approved as a correct record.

To provide Overview and Scrutiny with a summary of the grants received from Government either directly or indirectly to assist the Council in its response to COVID 19.

Recommend                         -   That the reports and its contents be noted. 

To provide the Overview and Scrutiny Committee with an overview of the grants for local businesses administered by the Council on behalf of Government during the first 12 months of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Recommended                     -   That the Overview and Scrutiny Committee note the contents of the report and comment accordingly.

To present the Overview and Scrutiny Committee with a progress report relating to Hyndburn Leisure, highlighting key challenges faced due to the pandemic during 2020/21 and the medium term plan to recover and extend focus on improving Health and Wellbeing. 

Recommended                 (1)   That the contents of the report be noted; and

                                (2)   That regular monitoring reports are produced by the Trust throughout the year to keep the Corporate goals under review and to ensure any variances to targets are fully explained and understood.
